Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What do the letters "CT" on a US nozzle mean?

The CT marking evolved from a 1980s method to positively differentiate US nozzles from European nozzles. When Delavan was required to meet EN standards for testing and marking in the early 90s the CT mark was removed from nozzles 1.65 GPH and below as it was no longer needed; however, it remains on nozzles above 1.75 GPH. The same nozzle with or without the CT mark is identical in every way since it was produced and sold into the US market.
